Fat experiences

Working out with new weight

Just curious for those who like a muscly chub bod or those who went back to the gym after expected or unexpected gains. What was it like?

I have recently rejoined the gym to gain while remaining fit. It was insane how much I sweat, couldn’t do as many sets, and just was uncoordinated. I think it’s deff due to the new weight and now I understand how people gain and don’t go back to the gym because it was a humiliating experience.

Just take the pace slow and try not to get too winded. If doing weights, focus on form over intensity. Your body is learning how to handle your newly balanced proportions. Your endurance will increase after a few sessions and you'll be able to push harder over time.

Thank you, I was actually only form checking myself but doing just the bar and like squats, deadlifts, and lunges left me with jello legs smiley

The most important thing is consistency. Especially if you're just starting back to the gym. Make it a routine to go at least once a week. I'm a month the jello legs will be past and you'll feel much stronger and more confident.
